2019's Home!

As kids, New Year held a lot of importance in our lives. Well, it still does, I guess, except the fact that there's way less excitement involved. Times were simpler back then. New Year was mostly about making cards for friends to be given as soon as the school reopened; now, it's more about looking around oneself to see if there are any friends left. New Year's Eve was spent watching shows with the entire family; now, you're just crammed up in some corner of your room, looking at your phone in the dark, scrolling through numerous posts on your social media accounts. Earlier, New Year's resolutions were dutifully charted out; now, you're just more aware that promises are broken, even the ones that we make to ourselves.

So yes, times have changed, and so have we. But I guess it's never too late to find happiness for yourself and spread a little of it in the world.

Here's to a new year, a hopefully new beginning, and lots of amazing experiences.
